Principal Investigator

Jihyun Hong | Associate Professor at POSTECH | Battery Materials

I am a materials scientist investigating innovative electrochemical energy storage materials and systems for a greener society, with relevant experiences in materials design, synthesis, and analysis.

I am particularly interested in fundamental problems related to structural evolution and charge transfer reactions of practically important materials under real-life situations involving non-equilibrium and dynamic conditions. I acknowledge wisdom and knowledge from collaborations and try to cultivate diverse ideas and cultures in the group.
